Srinagar, April, 05 (KNO) : With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, a public interaction meeting under Civic Action Programme was organized at Nehru Park, in which a number of respectable citizens of the area participated.
The meeting was chaired by SP City East Shri Dawood Ayoub and SDPO Nehru Park Shri Sadanshu Verma along with In-charge police post Nehru park Shri Sameer Ahmad were present of the occasion. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating drug menace, drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration including issues related to tourism. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SP City East and SDPO Nehu park assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority.
The officers also sought cooperation of participants so that the peaceful atmosphere is maintained in the area.(KNO)
